Harun Elibolca is a Berlin-based curator and practitioner-researcher working across gathering, participation and place.
His practice explores how people come together, and how access, hospitality, ritual, sound and spatial conditions shape collective experience.
His work spans participatory gatherings, site-specific interventions, music and cultural programmes, community-based formats and digital systems.
Working across art, music, hospitality, technology and social wellbeing, his practice remains grounded in human presence, care and lived experience.
Presented at the Italian Cultural Institute in Istanbul as a parallel event of the 15th Istanbul Biennial, NOT AN ARTIST was an Istituto Europeo di Design research project on the evolving roles surrounding contemporary art. Harun Elibolca, founder and director of Gigology, joined Tamara Chalabi, Deniz Ova and Alessandra Ricci, in a conversation moderated by Igor Zanti.
